Daily Agenda

Hello,

All students are expected to fill out their agenda after lunch. I check their agendas daily to see that they have neatly filled it out so you know what they need to do. My mark in their agenda means that I have seen all of their homework assignments in their homework folder at the end of the day. Your signature means that you have reviewed your child's homework, helping them when needed. Children are given time in class to start their homework. They are encouraged to start their homework while they are waiting to be picked up.

Homework is very important part of your child’s education. Homework will be assigned daily. You will find your child’s assigned homework in their daily agenda. I expect it to be turned in the next day, unless otherwise stated. If your child does not hand in their assignment, they will lose recess.

The grading system for late assignments is as follows:

One day late, five percentage points of the total grade will be deducted

Two days late, ten percentage points of the total grade will be deducted

Three days late, your child will receive a 0 for the assignment.
